We worked along side the landlord to finalize a high level budget and general scope of construction for the tenant moving into the space. Working thru preliminary design and engineering to maintain a maximum tenant allowance for the construction.
The general scope of the project was to build out 8 new offices, create a reception, two new kitchens, add a new large video conference boardroom and add multiple workstations in three large open areas. We also replaced all the electrical lighting and ran all new data wiring and engineered an air conditioner for the new server room.
After all the work was finalized we issued a tender for all the sub trade disciplines to ensure that we were getting the best value for the scope laid out in the architectural and engineering drawings.
Once the tender and pricing were finalized we started construction. We delivered the project a week early even with multiple changes to the scope thru construction. In the end, being completed 1 week early, the furniture suppliers were able to come in and set up without interruption and our electrical team was able to follow right behind to complete all the data and electrical. The eight week turn over on this project was seamless.
