Scott’s focus is providing clients in Calgary and across the western provinces with project management services and assisting with their real estate needs i.e. renovation, relocation, and construction projects.

Scott has worked with a variety of national clients including, Desjardins, Compass Canada, Microsoft, Marriott Hotels, Host and RBC. Providing various levels of project management services for these clients.

Experience

Scott brings 17 years of experience to Dovetail PM. He is a skilled leader who has effectively managed a variety of construction projects across Canada throughout his career.

Scott’s in-depth understanding of Project Management has come from the diverse experience gained from working for three large workplace management companies in Canada. Having consulted on behalf of a variety of major client accounts spanning across the country, Scott spent some time in Toronto working on the RBC team developing their new design standards which were rolled out in 2006. The balance of his career has been focused in the Calgary marketplace. Scott’s background in architecture and cabinet making has enabled him to effectively and successfully manage both design-build projects and major interior tenant improvement projects. Scott’s enthusiasm is an asset to clients, ensuring a superior level of customer service.

Scott’s project experience includes a variety companies in the Calgary market including but are not limited Oil and Gas, Drilling, Exploration and Engineering, Retail and some hospital work. Some of his clients are Storm Resources, Canadian Oil Sands, SAP, Bankers Petroleum, Toscana, Arcis, NEP Canada ULC, Raytheon, Host hotels, Stikeman Elliott, CPC Resources, Good Earth, Second cup, Compass Canada, Microsoft. The scope of services that were provided has varied from standalone design build projects to interior tenant fit out and retail development.

Education and Affiliations

Mr. Crews completed the Project Management program at Mount Royal University earning a Certificate in Project Management. Scott attended SAIT, earning an Architectural Technical Certificate and the Red Seal Journeyman Certificate for cabinetmaking. Scott is a member of the Southern Alberta chapter of the PMI institute.
